Hello everyone !
I hope you guys are having a great weekend, i wanted to say a quick hello and share a few pictures from my weekend getaway.
I had a chance to spend some days in the colorful city popularly known as the Pink City -Jaipur.
I chose to spend my day wandering and exploring few new places, the palaces, lakes, forts, alluring architects, cafes. We stayed at this amazing resort called 'Lebua' situated on the outskirts of Jaipur surrounded by some greenery.
First on my list was this interesting cafe 'NIBS CAFE' its basically the chocolate cafe but they also have some really great food and interiors too, the place is very spacious. The ambience and decor is very creative and unique and its a must visit.
Moving on... who doesn't love shopping? I think no outing is ever complete without shopping! So our next stop was Johri bazaar, i know you've heard of it. The temperature there was soaring and it was almost unbearable but coming to Jaipur and not shopping here would be a sacrilege. You can find almost everything here, from gold to silver to traditional jewelry, while you can also check out some pretty foot wears, traditional lehengas and sarees.
After that i went to Hawa Mahal, spent some time over there and admired the beehive beauty. Next stop was Nahargarh Fort, situated high up on the Aravali hills, it is famous for its sunset views overlooking the entire Jaipur city. It is beautiful, but quiet a pain if you are going there in forty degrees.
In the evening i went to this famous restaurant Chowki Dhani which is nearly one hour drive from Lebua, which is a theme restaurant in a wide open space. Shows the colors of Rajasthan culture and the village art, with some great authentic food.
